A Requiem for Those Who Had None
We're thrilled to announce that tickets are on sale for our early Summer Concert A Requiem for Those Who Had None β our first appearance at the stunning Southwark Cathedral.
This poignant concert remembers the thousands of LGBTQ+ people who lost their lives across Europe from the 14thβ19th centuries as a result of religious and social persecution, with a heartbreaking local historical connection.
James Pratt and John Smith, the last men in the UK to be hanged because of their sexuality, were arrested in a house in the Parish of St Saviour's, only a short distance from Southwark Cathedral.
The concert will honour these lives, with moving and meditative music in the stunning acoustic of the Cathedral β not a concert to be missed!
We would love to see you there and, as always, would be hugely grateful if you can share the details of the evening with your friends, family, colleagues and networks.
