Various Voices – The Heart of Europe’s Queer Choral Scene​

Every four years, Various Voices, the European LGBTQ+ Choir festival transforms a European city into a vibrant, musical playground. Hundreds of queer choirs from across Europe – and beyond – come together to sing, celebrate, and raise their voices to sing for equality.

Being the reason that LEGATO was born, Various Voices is until now much more than a concert programme: it’s a musical home, a platform for connection and inspiration, a place where new friendships are made and queer culture is celebrated.

LEGATO supports the festival from the very first idea to the big stage: we guide the bidding process, help the local organizing choirs with organisation, provide start-up funding, and ensure that every festival is unique – and unforgettable.

To participate in the festival, your choir must be a member of LEGATO or GALA. Then it’s: spotlight on, voices up – and welcome to Various Voices!
