ABOUT
Chór Niemęski 4 Non Straights is the first initiative of the “4 Non Straights” Association, which supports LGBTQIA+ art and culture, educates about equal rights, and challenges gender identity stereotypes. Our work also embraces the potential of neurodiversity, which we discovered within our members.
We have created a space for shared singing and growth by organizing concerts, workshops, and educational events. Our performances include the British Embassy on Human Rights Day, concerts with Paulina Przybysz, collaboration with Gaba Kulka during the “Music for Gaza” concert, and supporting DAGADANA in an event broadcasted on a renowned national music radio station. Our activism extends to inclusive language workshops, sensory relief sessions, and concerts tailored for various groups, including seniors.
While we are based in Warsaw, the impact of our work reaches far beyond. We have co-organized concerts supporting LGBTQIA+ communities in small towns and rural areas and participated in events promoting humanitarian aid in Gaza. Thanks to collaborations with cultural institutions, our initiatives take place in diverse settings, from senior concerts to sensory workshops and teaching traditional Georgian songs during Halloween.
We believe in the power of art and music to inspire, educate, and bring people together.
