the next Various Voices Festival in ...

Dear Legato Members

On Saturday 16 October 2010 we had a very exciting meeting in Berlin where we heard two fantastic presentations from Leeds and from Dublin who both put forward their plans for hosting the next Various Voices Festival.

After the presentations, questions and discussion the delegates representing the choirs attending the meeting voted and the successful bid was from Dublin. We will ask them to provide a copy of their bid in electronic format so that we can email it to all member choirs so that you can see what they plan, but it certainly seems we will have a great Festival.

The next Legato meeting will also be in Dublin on June 11 2011 giving us all an opportunity to have a preview of what is planned and to hear more about progress towards the Festival. We hope that many choirs will be represented at the meeting so that we can hear as many views as possible.

We look forward to seeing you in Dublin next June 2011.
